KEMPE WELCOMES NEW STAFF

We are pleased to announce the newest members of our Firm:

Emily Packwood, Esq.    

Ms. Packwood is an estate planning attorney who comes to us after practicing for several years in a Vero Beach, Florida, boutique estate planning law firm.  Prior to her practice of law, she was a Senior Associate of The Pew Charitable Trust, who managed their operations; prepared policy analysis; and assisted with strategic planning related to their South Atlantic and Caribbean Fish Conservation campaigns. Her practice also extends to real estate law and title insurance policy issuance and agency.

Ms. Packwood is a graduate of The Shepard Broad Law Center, of Nova Southeastern University, where she received her Juris Doctorate; the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia, where she studied communication and conservation; and  Queens University of Charlotte, North Carolina, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communications.

She joins our Estate and Trust Administration Department where she will focus on settling probate and non-probate estates; trusts administrations; and the legal and tax issues that affect them.

For those fishermen out there, Emily’s husband, Jesse, runs a charter fishing operation out of the Jupiter Inlet.

Anastasia Larrain, CPA

Ms. Larrain joins us after an extensive and impressive practice with public accounting and wealth management groups in New York, including RSM US, LLC; Anchin, Block & Anchin; and Turtle Bay Wealth Management Group, where she was a Tax Manager in their high wealth and ultra-high wealth groups and supervised  teams of tax professionals and offshore business tax teams. Most recently she practiced in Jacksonville Florida with the international accounting firm, Ernst & Young, and Carr, Riggs & Ingram.

She holds a Master of Business Administration in Public Accounting from Pace University, New York; a Master of Science in Taxation from Pace University, New York; and is a certified public accountant in Florida and New York.  Presently a member of the American Institute of Certified Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Accounts, she also has been recently appointed in a leadership role of the Florida Federal Regulation Committee.
Ms. Larrain joins our Tax Planning and Compliance and Wealth Management Departments.

Rylee Craycraft, RN, BSN

Ms. Craycraft joins our Health Care Advocacy Department, where she will be assisting Marnie Poncy, RN, Esq., with the medical issues that affect health care advance directives and plans of care. In this role, she will help clients of the Firm and their families navigate transitions in life that affect many as they age. She has been a Clinical Nurse Leader and Operations Professional in critical care and has proven her ability to lead multidisciplinary teams of professionals. She has a wide variety of experience and accolades, with service in hospitals; private practice; and home care, including regulatory compliance.

Ms. Craycraft is a magna cum laude graduate of the Northwestern Oklahoma State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Kayla Tolunay, CFP®

Ms. Tolunay joins us in our estate planning department where she will serve as a legal assistant.  She will also be assisting within our Wealth Management Department. Prior to joining us, Ms. Tolunay was  Head Financial Planner and Insurance Advisor with Hotaling: a Founder and Chief Planning Officer with Stavis Wealth Transfer Solutions; and a Partner and Senior Private Wealth Advisor with Corient, all in Houston, Texas. She also served as an adjunct professor at Rice University, where she taught best practices in the insurance industry, at the Glasscock School of Continuing Studies.

Ms. Tolunay holds a CFP® designation; FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses; is a General Lines Insurance Agent; and is a graduate of Eckerd College, of St. Petersburg, Florida.

Rather, we serve as family legal counsel in navigating many of the issues associated with these products and oversee, and reporting to families, the cost, risk, and performance associated with money management and investment advice provided by third-party advisors and managers.

Judd Anicette

Mr. Anicette is a Senior Accountant who joins us with a focus on family office and high-net-worth client accounting.  In this role he will bolster our Family Office Accounting department, that assists clients with transitions in life and their financial management, where maintaining client bookkeeping and cash flow management extends the independence of our clients and assists us with reporting to them and their families, while addressing related tax compliance.

Prior to joining us, Mr. Anicette was a Senior Accountant with CohnResnick, LP in Palm Beach County and Apercen Partners, LLC in Palo Alto, California.

Mr. Anicette is a graduate of Colorado State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.  He will be a member of our Family Office Accounting and Wealth Management Departments.

Isabella Lezama

Ms. Lezama joins our estate planning department as Estate Planning Coordinator, where she will assist new and existing clients navigate access to our varied departments.  She has substantial background in office management. Prior to joining the Firm, she spent six years managing the office of a high volume tax accounting firm in North Palm Beach, FL.  Her client management skills started in the hospitality industry, where she received Cerficates of Excellence and Enrichment from Auberge Beach Residences & Luxury Spa.

Ms. Lezama is a graduate of Palm Beach State College with an associates degree in Business Administration.
