Melissa D. Lazarchick, Esq.

Mrs. Lazarchick is a Jupiter, Florida native and has practiced in Palm Beach County since 2007. She began her career as an associate attorney with the litigation firm, Roberts, Reynolds, Bedard & Tuzzio , which was followed by four years of trial practice with Rosenbaum Mollengarden Janssen & Siracusa. Thereafter she became a partner in Janssen & Siracusa, P.A., where she participated in all phases of diverse litigation and trial practice. Most recently Ms. Lazarchick was a member of the litigation department of Ciklin Lubitz & O’Connell, where her practice focused on probate and trust litigation.

A graduate of Cardinal Newman High School, West Palm Beach, Ms. Lazarchick obtained a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas, and a Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, with honors.

Ms. Lazarchick has been recognized since 2013 as a Super Lawyers Rising Star, a designation given to only 2.5% of the attorneys in the state of Florida. She is a member of the Florida Bar, District of Columbia Bar Association, United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the Palm Beach County Bar Association, where she has Chaired the 1st and 2nd Annual YLS Fishing Tournaments and been a committee member for the Holiday Party for Foster Children and the School Supply Distribution Program. Melissa and her husband, Bill, have served as committee members of the Jupiter Medical Center’s Highballs & Hibiscus fund raising event.

In Porto Venezia Condo. Ass’n. v. WB Fort Lauderdale, 926 F. Supp. 2d 1330, the Court ruled WB, a wholly owned subsidiary of ING Direct (the lender) was a “developer” pursuant to Florida Statute §718.203 and therefore, was potentially liable to the condominium for breach of statutorily implied warranties.
